I'm slowly getting back into the whole nail polish thing, and with the arrival of so many pretty fall releases I couldn't resist. Orly Lunar Eclipse looked so pretty in the bottle, but for $10 I have to say it is pretty disappointing. The gorgeous deep blue/purple duochrome shows as a plain dark blue glitter on the nail. There is only one solution: holo it up! And for that I used OPI Sand-erella, which worked out remarkably well considering Lunar Eclipse is B3F, and Sand-erella is not.
The main reason for me to layer these is that I had some drying issues with Lunar Eclipse by itself in combination with Poshe top coat, and it ended up denting horribly. I added some Orly Smudge fixer, then added one layer of Sand-erella, topped off with Seche Vite.. and this was hard as a rock within 10 minutes.

Woow that's just AB FAB!
Wow! This is gorgeous!!! I need to get Sand-erella!
The price tag of $10 made me stay away from the Orly Cosmic FX collection. I was lucky enough to find them at CVS ( a drug store) for $5!
